'Aviv for Holocaust Survivors'  vision:

All Holocaust Survivors should live with Dignity and Welfare

About Us

“Aviv for Holocaust Survivors”, a non-profit organization, was established  in 2007 for the purpose of ensuring the full realization by Holocaust Survivors of their rights, with no charge.

Of the estimated 200,000 elderly survivors living in Israel today, approximately one- quarter are living in poverty. Thousands of them do not take advantage of all their rights, whether granted to them by law or under various programs.

They are unaware of benefits due to them from Israel's Finance Ministry, from Germany, from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany, from the Foundation for the Benefit of Holocaust Victims in Israel, and other agencies.

Even professionals and volunteers working with Holocaust survivors are often not informed of their basic rights and are therefore not equipped to guide them through the bureaucratic maze.

Elderly Holocaust survivors are left with many questions and few answers. Full realization of their rights would ensure that they live the rest of their lives with dignity and comfort.

The organization is headed by Adv. Aviva Silberman, who has 20 years’ experience in the field of Holocaust survivor rights.

Our approach is aimed at helping Holocaust survivors and their families to maximize their rights.

We work to disseminate and make accessible information on the subject, often achieving a significant improvement in the survivors' financial status.
All of Aviv`s Services are provided to the survivors and their family members completely free of charge.

Since established in 2007 Aviv assisted more than 60,000 Holocaust survivors to recive rights and benefits valued at NIS 350 miiion
